Last night, friends and associates gathered at the Clarkson Pump House in Mississauga for Sandra's birthday eve celebration. ETAs and tribute artists, James Begley, Marcus Wells, and Doug McKenzie entertained with Elvis, Elton John, and Roy Orbison songs. Sandra, Rita, Elaine, and others, provided back-up... with Sandra as the lead vocal ;). Pam Pettit and Sue Harris, Flaming Star organizers, ETA fans Elaine, Trish, Marcello, and their daughter, Alicia, Marcus's wife, Karen, Doug's wife, Patty, James's wife, Karla, and ETA Bruno Nesci joined in the celebration. ETA Tim E Hendry sent a live greeting to Sandra from Florida. ETA Gordon Hendricks sent his live message all the way from sunny Australia. Sue Harris made the spectacular card for Sandra that is pictured in the slide show. Marcus Wells ended the evening on a high note by singing his amazing vocal of David Bowie's "Let's Dance"...and we did...right until closing! It was a great evening of fun and entertainment celebrating the effervescent Ms. Gold. Hope this is just the beginning of a splendid year of wonderful memories, Sandra. Best regards, Carolyn.
